Sertoma Club of Brownsburg

Service to Mankind. It’s more than just how we got our name; it’s been our foundation for over 100 years.

Sertomans across the country are unified with a single purpose: serve our communities and improve the lives of those who need help. Our mission and our passion is to improve the quality of life for those in need.

Our Brownsburg club was established in 1983. Our active members have over 300 years of combined service with our club.  Our recent support through fundraisers like our annual Casino Night event and our annual golf outing have benefited the following individuals, organizations, and causes:

• Baby Box – Brownsburg Fire Department – $6,000
• Care to Change – Funds to provide counseling to needy troubled kids in Brownsburg – $5,000 annually
• Family Promise of Hendricks County to assist homeless – $4,580 annually
• Sheltering Wings – $5,300
• Christmas shopping for local families – $3,500
• Purchased therapy tools for local handicap children to aid in learning – $1,500
• Brownsburg High School Graduate college scholarships – $3,200 annually
• Deputy Sheriff Pickett scholarship – $1,000 annually
• 9/11/2001 Memorial – Brownsburg Fire Department – $2,500
• Cypress Manor Christmas party and gifts for their residents – $500 annually
• Serving food at the Brownsburg Police Dept. Night Out Against Crime – $500 annually

Since our club was established nearly 40 years ago, we have raised close to $1,000,000. This has all been put back into our local community to support those in need.
